Any update? I'm like a child the night before Christmas! Looking forward to experiencing first hand what all the fuss is about! ;o)

I just received an e-mail from Cory and the three that responded are the first on the list. Please contact me or post if you have not yet received it.

Thanks for the patience!!!

Every day I beat my own personal record of the number of consecutive days that I have remained alive...and I have finally played a Batson guitar.

A little clip of "Nuages" by the late and great Django:

If I keep all of my clips short, I have less time to mess up! :)

Ben, I've been researching custom acoustics for over a year and my journey has taken me to Batson. I live in Belleville also and noticed your posts from the road trip.Have you or do you intend to buy a Batson?I'm thinking about visiting them in Nashville soon.Your thoughts on the Batson?

Thanks, Steve Warren

This is the assistant pastor at my church where I am the worship pastor/music minister (you can see why I stay reasonably humble!). It's an original piece of his called "Sleepy Song" (coz he hasn't given it a real name yet) In drop D.

I will be shooting some video of me tomorrow.

The guitar is choking a little and needs a set up... but still sounds great. Gotta love that full, round, yet defined bass!

Ok.. my turn again. This is an original piece in DADGAD. Doesn't have a name yet. The low end of the Batson makes open tunings very satisfying. There's a little outtake at the end for giggles!

Great job man! I really enjoyed those vids :D I'll be posting my own soon

I've been playing guitar since I was 13. I just started running this year, and hope to someday be an apprentice at the Batson Workshop

Thank you! It's gone really quiet on the forum! I appreciate your response! :o )

As an update.. I spoke to Cory Batson because the neck had shifted slightly in shipping and the action was choking... Still playable, as you can see, but not perfect. He said to send it back to base! So it will be receiving a tune up before getting to the next person on the list.. Whoever that may be.

Hey Theo. The guitar is on its way back to Nashville for some maintenance. It's had quite the journey!

Hi All,

I received an e-mail from Cory today and he is still waiting for the guitar to get back to him for the tune up. Can the last person to have the guitar follow up on the shipping tracking number to see where it is hiding? If you like you can send the tracking info to me and I will hunt the guitar down.

It really has gotten elusive lately, a mind of its' own!

According to FedEx it was received and signed for today at 11am. You probably got that email from Cory right before it arrived. Ain't that the way it goes! I hope it makes it's way to you soon!
